About Matcha
Matcha is a finely ground tea made from tea leaves that are shaded from the sun before harvesting. This process concentrates chlorophyll and other nutrients into the leaves, and results in a beautiful green color and increased health benefits. Finally, the best leaves are plucked and slowly ground (about 1oz per hour) to reduce oxidation.
